About House of Cards, from BoardGameGeek:

In the hidden corridors of power, every favor counts. Polls may sway the nation's pulse, but behind every result lie public deals, secret betrayals, and unexpected alliances. You are the leader of a political faction striving to increase your political capital while dodging scandals, outmaneuvering your rivals, and manipulating public perception. Manage your resources with cunning, deploy key allies at just the right moment, anticipate your opponents' moves, and adapt your strategy to the sudden shifts provoked by powerful figures. Only those who master the delicate dance between influence and political capital will rise victorious in this ruthless game of ambition and strategy. Welcome to House of cards. -description from the designer
