This tile-placement game is all about sevens: 7 colors on a board of 7 rows & 7 columns, and 7 tiles of each shape. It's a little bit puzzle-ish, and a lot of the strategy is in denying your opponent places to play their tiles. There are a number of variations to the rules, and variable set-ups that offer a substantial level of re-playability. There's also a solo mode - a set of seven puzzles to solve. The game was created by Alex Randolph during his most productive phase in the 1970s, and has been published by several different companies over the years. It's been known as Magic Seven, Seven Up, Cover Up, and a couple of non-English names as well. It's a great game to hone your pattern-recognition skills, too!
