About Heart and Skull: The Core of Sepulchre, from BoardGameGeek:

Heart and Skull is the stripped-down card-based version of Sepulchre: A Grave Game. Heart and Skull is a card-based game for 2 to 6 players that utilizes a deck that consists of three types of cards: Skeleton Cards for players to build skeletons, Decay Cards for dismantling the skeletons of opponents, and Cemetery Cards which drive the game by providing a wide range of offense and defense options along with a variety of other card-specific tactics. The objective of Heart and Skull is to be the first to complete three seven-piece skeletons using combinations of the three types of cards in the play deck. The skeletons are represented in this version of Sepulchre in the form of transparent skeleton piece cards that are overlaid and arranged left to right in a row. Heart and Skull takes players on a journey of all things cemetery and graveyard related, ranging from the symbolism of headstone art to the natural (and supernatural) denizens one might encounter while visiting. -description from the designer
