About Headliner, from BoardGameGeek:
Headliner is a music-themed card game of building bands, chasing hype, and stealing the spotlight. Draft the right mix of talent, style, and sound to become the act everyone came to see. Own the stage in this travel-sized showdown full of bold personalities and rock n' roll attitude.
On your turn, you will draft a new band member into your hand from one of five columns. Then, you'll drive your van to a venue in town with hopes to hit the stage once you have earned the matching icon requirements. Finally, if you've got the right card combination, you hit the stage and headline at the venue! Headlining will earn you cash and fame that ultimately gets you closer to winning the game.
If you headline with certain band members, your band breaks up! You must discard some band members, then work your way back towards performing again soon with a new (and might I say better) band.
The first player to earn $100 cash or 8 Fame will win the game and go on a nationwide tour!
