About Mr Postmouse's Picnic, from BoardGameGeek:
Mr Postmouse's Picnic is a cooperative game of adventure and teamwork for young children and families. Inspired by Marianne Dubuc's beloved picture books, the game invites players to join Mr Postmouse as he sets out through the forest to deliver invitations for a joyful picnic with his friends.
Together, players reveal and place tiles to build paths, move Mr Postmouse and his animal friends, and face challenges along the way. Rain may send him back home unless he has built a Tent, while Night tiles bring darkness closer with each turn. To win, Mr Postmouse must reach the picnic site before nightfall with at least four friends by his side.
For extra variety, the game offers a double-sided board with increasing difficulty, and a playful variant where the “Sneezy Dragon” chases Mr Postmouse through the forest, threatening to burn the invitations with fiery sneezes!
Why families will love it:
Cooperative play that encourages teamwork, sharing, and decision-making.
Simple rules accessible from age 4, perfect for first board game experiences.
A charming universe straight from Marianne Dubuc's Mr Postmouse books.
Whimsical artwork and components that bring the forest adventure to life.
