🇺🇸 🇬🇧 Let's take a look inside the box of Gardlings by @SchmidtSpielePodcast
In this bag‑builder we will be building gardens and collecting gems.
On your turn, you draw a garden tile from your bag and place it in your garden. Any tiles you draw afterwards must line up their gems with tiles already placed in your garden.
At any time you may pass for the round and stop drawing, because if you have more than 6 gnomes in your garden, you will score fewer gems.
After everyone has passed, you buy a new tile from the display based on the number of gems you scored. You can add any earned coins (for example from 3 pig tiles) to buy a more expensive tile.
Special creatures also have special abilities. Three dragons scare away one gnome. Unicorns can move on the board even after they are placed. Birdies have rainbow eggs that count as wilds. Gardeners have triple gems, and Mushies have paired gems connected with a line.
We put everything back in our bag and go for the next round of building a garden.
When someone is able to buy the trophy, they win the game. Ties are broken with leftover coins.

About Gardlings, from BoardGameGeek:
Cleverly build your garden. Harvest gems and enrich your seed bag with new, amazing creatures so your next garden can grow even more abundant. Combine the unique abilities of your creatures, and be the first to acquire the victory trophy.
Each round in Gardlings, all players simultaneously build their garden in front of themselves. You do this by drawing and placing tiles from your bag. You may stop drawing tiles at any time because if you draw too many gnomes, they will steal gems from you. At the end of the round, use any gems you matched in your garden to buy a new tile, then return all of your tiles to your bag to prepare for the next round. Each tile features potential ways to match gems, as well as a creature with a special ability. Your garden will grow larger and better each round, and the puzzle of placing tiles will become increasingly complex.
The goal of the game is to match enough gems to buy the victory tile.
