In this preview of Crownfell, I dig into its dynamic abstract gameplay on a 5×5 grid using eight character cards, each with unique movement and rules. Players draft four out of 17 characters, creating fresh asymmetry every game. You win by capturing all opposing pieces to win, but there are many aspects to keep in mind: The center space lets you rally allies and resurrect captured cards, and pieces can even switch sides. I walk through how the game plays and play a session of the solo mode which you can add to the game as well. This will be part of a Crowd Sale on The Game Crafter on November 18, 2025.
