Description provided by Czech Games Edition on YouTube:

In the fourth episode of our docuseries, we are in the quirky year of 2012 and Czech Games Edition opened up to publishing games also from non-Czech designers. The first step was taken with Tzolk'in, and in this episode, we also delve deep into all the production challenges and mishaps that the crew remembers fondly! Vlaada also took his first plunge into the abstract realm of board games with the game Tash-Kalar. And a year later, CGE publishes Alchemists, one of the first board games to use a companion app! Matus Kotry, the designer of Alchemists, shares the story behind the creation of the game, together with the CGE crew and some lovely guests retelling stories and memorabilia of this unique euro-game! Making Board Games Docuseries goes through untold stories and a behind-the-scenes view of the board game scene in the last 2 decades, from developers, artists and designers who bring life to the games to board game reviewers and community members who have played and loved these games, this documentary series is a celebration of the board game hobby! 00:00 Intro 00:27 Tzolk'in 10:04 Tash-Kalar: Arena of Legends 14:17 Alchemists ----------- Get CGE hard-to-find games: https://shop.czechgames.com/hard-to-find/ Get promos for your CGE games: https://shop.czechgames.com/promos/ ----------- Follow us on our social: https://www.facebook.com/CzechGames https: //twitter.com/czechgames https://www.instagram.com/czech_games_edition/ More about us: https://czechgames.com/ #boardgames #gaming
