Watch “French Toast - Board Game Review,” a board game review for French Toast from Meeple AF on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Meeple AF on YouTube:
French Toast is a fast, creative party game that turns guessing into absolute chaos.
One player becomes the Toastmaster and secretly chooses a word. Everyone else tries to guess it, but here’s the catch: the Toastmaster can only repeat guesses back. No hints. No explanations. Just repetition.
Each guess is judged as closer or not closer than the previous best. If it’s closer, it gets repeated. If not, the old guess comes back. Somehow, from that mess, logic starts to form. Or everyone confidently runs in the wrong direction together.
The game teaches in five minutes, plays in under fifteen, and works best with loud, imaginative groups. Quiet, overly analytical tables might struggle. Groups willing to shout nonsense with confidence will have a blast.
It’s light, charming, and dangerously replayable without overstaying its welcome.
