Formation is a light playing card-arranging strategy game for 2-4 players. Every player begins the game with 9 random cards dealt out in front of them, each with a suit and an ability. There are 15 suits and 5 abilities (switch, defend, replace, steal and collect). Players take advantage of their cards' abilities while racing to be first to line up three rows or columns of the same suit. Formation is a re-implementation of a game called Triumph, by the same designers.
