FLYING SPIT: How to Play

Voyagers have brought a soft and adorable alpaca back from a mysterious new world to the royal court. The charming creature quickly becomes the center of attention, but the overwhelming enthusiasm of its admirers proves too much. Cornered and frustrated, the alpaca responds in the only way it knows how - by spitting at everyone around it. In Flying Spit, 2–7 players try to avoid being eliminated while manipulating a running number and managing their characters' Spit Tokens. On each turn, a player plays one Alpaca Card, resolves any Spit Tokens caused by the card, then draws a new card. Number Cards alter the current number in the Play Area, while Action Cards can change how the number or cards behave. If the current number reaches 100 or more, a Spit Spray is triggered and the active player receives Spit Tokens. Otherwise, players compare their Number Tokens with the digits of the current number; matching digits can trigger a Spit Warning and cause additional Spit Tokens to be gained. Each character has a Spit Threshold and a special ability. When a character accumulates enough Spit Tokens to reach its threshold, the Character Card is flipped to Side B. If it reaches the threshold again, that character is eliminated. The game continues until only one player remains, and that player wins.
