Final Girl - Nightmares at the Asylum - Can Sheila Survive Dr. Fright?
Welcome back to Final Girl, where Ray is taking on Dr. Fright at Wolfe Asylum!
And this time we're playing as SHEILA!
Things are already looking a little concerning.
Dr. Fright has positioned himself between Sheila and...
A WHOLE LOT OF VICTIMS.
That's not ideal.
But Ray has learned something from previous encounters with the Doctor of Sleep.
DO NOT GO AFTER DR. FRIGHT TOO EARLY!
We've tried that before.
It ended...
BADLY.
So let's be smart about this.
Let's explore the asylum, rescue some victims, find some useful items and prepare ourselves for the inevitable nightmare!
Oh look!
WE FOUND A DOCTOR!
Thankfully, it's a NICE doctor!
Maybe...
A little TOO nice?
Hmmmm...
Anyway!
Sheila has found something VERY interesting.
THE HOOK-HANDLED BONE HAMMER!
Now THAT'S a weapon!
A massive two-handed instrument of destruction that could potentially do some serious damage to Dr. Fright!
There's just one tiny problem...
USING IT MIGHT KILL SHEILA FIRST.
You know what?
That's a risk we're apparently willing to take!
But while Ray is busy getting ready for the big confrontation, something concerning is happening.
The victim pool is getting smaller.
And smaller.
And...
WHERE DID EVERYBODY GO?!
Oh dear.
Is it already time to confront Dr. Fright?
We wanted more preparation.
We wanted more victims saved.
We wanted a nice, comfortable plan that would guarantee victory.
But this is Final Girl.
WE DON'T GET NICE THINGS.
So perhaps it's time to stop preparing and start fighting!
Sheila grips her enormous Bone Hammer.
Ray takes one last look at the situation.
And together we're going to...
ENTER DREAMLAND!
And apparently...
THE BOILER ROOM?!
Oh, this seems like a TERRIBLE idea.
But we've come too far to turn back now!
Can Sheila survive the nightmares?
Can the Bone Hammer bring down Dr. Fright without bringing down Sheila too?
Will Ray finally learn from his previous mistakes?
And most importantly...
CAN SHEILA PUT THE DOCTOR OF SLEEP TO REST ONCE AND FOR ALL?!
There's only one way to find out!
LET'S PLAY SOME FINAL GIRL!

About Final Girl, from BoardGameGeek:
Playing on a famous horror movie trope, Final Girl is a solitaire-only game that puts the player in the shoes of a female protagonist who must kill the slasher if she wants to survive.
The Core Box, when combined with one of our Feature Film Boxes, has everything you need to play the game. Each Feature Film Box features a unique Killer and an iconic Location, and the more Feature Films you have, the more killer/location combinations you can experience!
In game terms, Final Girl shares similarities with Hostage Negotiator, but with some key differences that change it up, including a game board to track locations and character movement. You can choose from multiple characters when picking someone to play and multiple killers when picking someone to play against. Killers and locations each have their own specific terror cards that will be shuffled together to create a unique experience with various combinations of scenarios for you to play!
NOTE: The 2022 Kickstarter for Final Girl: Season 2 included a 13 card Final Girl: First Printing Correction Pack of corrected cards for the first printing of Final Girl: Series 1. The cards mostly fix typos and are not required to play the game. The cards were corrected for the second printing of Final Girl: Series 1.
