Evergreen | Reveal Trailer

Description provided by Horrible Guild on YouTube:

Introducing Evergreen, a tree-growing abstract strategy game for 1-4 players where you build a lush ecosystem! The game was designed by Hjalmar Hach, designer of award-winning games such as Railroad Ink, The King's Dilemma, and Photosynthesis. In Evergreen, your goal is to make your planet the greenest and most fertile of all. To do so, you plant sprouts, grow them into trees, and place other natural elements such as bushes or lakes. - Pick a Biome card from a common pool to determine the area of your Planet you’re going to develop each round. - Grow your Trees, plant Bushes, and place Lakes to create a huge Forest, and use the power of Nature to gain extra Actions! - Concentrate your Trees in the most Fertile areas and let them collect Light without overshadowing each other to score points! Craft your own strategy! Pick cards from the drafting pool for the Biome they allow you to develop, or for the Power they activate. But that's not all! Even the cards you do NOT choose are just as important, since the least chosen biomes become more Fertile, and thus more valuable! Try to keep your Trees close to each other to score points for your biggest Forest... but you also want them to collect as much Light as possible without shading each other, so be mindful of the position of the sun! Just like in Evergreen, we believe it is important to take good care of our planet in real life. That's why we are proud to say that all the components of the game are developed to be as sustainable as possible. Additionally, Evergreen supports Trees for the Future, a humanitarian and nonprofit organization training communities and farming families across 9 countries in sub-Saharan Africa on sustainable land use, so that they can grow vibrant economies, thriving food systems, and a healthier planet. Evergreen will be launching at retail later this year in Q4 2022. For more info, check the official page of the game. Visit the website and find out more: https://horribleguild.com/product/evergreen/
