Euthia: Torment of Resurrection Review — My RPG Childhood Arrives?

Description provided by Shelfside on YouTube:

Shelfside reviews Euthia, a strategic adventure RPG tabletop board game inspired by old school fantasy! Expect to level up your character adventurer, kill monsters, and grab loot in older to bolster your reputation (victory points for scenarios). This reputation also determines how you level up, so it's like EXP and VP combined into one resource. With tons of components to somewhat compete with Gloomhaven, there's plenty of tokens, tiles, and cards found in Euthia. However, organization can come in the box with the legendary organizer add-on in the forms of trays and cardboard shelves that look like towers! So even with crazy progression systems for 6 unique characters with different mechanics, your pieces will stay organized while looking great. We have to commend the leveling system for being so diverse, while also having unique weight in the campaign because you have to go move back to town to receive your upgrades. But as you might expect, this game is still really fiddly, and learning how to even get started from the rulebook is an fantasy adventure quest in and of itself. Being like a video game RPG can be good and bad, and a board game like this needs tons of upkeep.
