About Escar-GO! — from BoardGameGeek:

Glide right up for the greatest race of all slime! The fastest mollusks on the face of the Earth have gathered to prove their prowess in this ultimate snail race! On your marks, get set, Escar-GO! Escar-GO is a rowdy, dice chucking, push-your-luck snail race. Players take turns rolling their two dice until they stop or bust. If you roll an X after your first turn, you bust and must move your snail backward for each X you roll. If you stop before busting, place your dice on any open rung of the dice ladder. If your dice are still there at the start of your next turn, your snail inches forward on the race track equal to your position on ladder. (Your snail also immediately advances each time you roll doubles.) But if anyone places their dice on a lower rung of the ladder and their two-digit number is equal to or greater than dice on a higher-numbered rung, those dice are bumped off! How many times do you risk rerolling for the perfect result, and where do you place your dice on the ladder? Escar-GO is an evolution of Reiner Knizia's classic dice game Excape/Rapido. It retains the lively, approachable gameplay that fans have come to love while introducing exciting new features: A second race track! This track features special spaces for more drama and chaos. Enjoy a standalone race on either track, or two thrilling back-to-back races (one on each track)! An improved two-player mode that utilizes two pairs of dice for each player (this addition also exists in Rapido) A pair of action tokens that each player receives and may use once per game (to bail them out of a bust) A slight rules variant - if you bust in last place, you do not move backward Charming snail racers with unique names and personalities Improved portability thanks to the included travel case and carabiner (the latest addition to Bitewing Games' Travel Line) -description from the publisher
