About Epireia, from BoardGameGeek:
Immerse yourself in the epic grandeur of ancient Greece with Epireia, a captivating board game where you command one of six cities: Sparta, Athens, Elis, Delphi, Corinth, or Larissa. As the city's Administrator, you're tasked with a monumental challenge: to elevate your city-state to unparalleled heights of power and influence.
Epireia is designed around three scenarios, leading to a final confrontation.
A round in Epireia is segmented into three phases to mirror the complexities of ancient leadership. The development Phase is where your visionary planning comes to life, allowing you to construct buildings that are the envy of your rivals and develop your prestige to your citizen.
During the Diplomacy Phase, your strategic acumen is tested as you deploy influential figures across the game's map to secure military victories or establish key trade routes. The journey concludes with the Production Phase, where you reap the fruits of your labor through resource collection.
Victory in Epireia is not just about the glory of a single city but the triumph of an alliance. The first league to win the final battle will be crowned the ruler of the land, achieving a legacy of dominance that will be remembered for ages.
Epireia invites you to a world where strategy, diplomacy, and resource management intertwine, challenging you to claim your place in history as the greatest leader of ancient Greece.
