About Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North, from BoardGameGeek:

Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North is a standalone card game in the established Imperial Settlers universe, with players heading to the far north where three groups live: Scotsmen, Inuits, and Vikings. Take on the role of leader, and make your faction into the best empire in the world! Players will find six pre-constructed Clan (two for each faction) decks ready to use straight out of the box. Each Clan has a different take on the game with focus on different mechanics, and varied play difficulty between 1-10. The game plays out over a series of rounds, during which players explore new lands, construct buildings, trade resources, and sail to new lands with the aim of either conquering, or pillaging to gain more goods! Each action draws the clans closer to becoming the greatest empire! The game is played in rounds of 4 phases: Lookout, Action, Expedition, and Cleanup. The game continues until a player reaches or passes the 25 Victory points space on the scoreboard during the Action phase. Once that happens, the final round is triggered and the game will end at the end of the current round. Develop your economy, deflect your opponent, and fight for dominance in the north. Learn new mechanisms, and experience a unique style of Imperial Settlers. Will you be able to create the most successful civilization in Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North?
