Eila and Something Shiny — Chapter 1: The Forest | Full Cozy Solo Playthrough

Description provided by One Last Hand on YouTube:

Welcome back to One Last Hand. Today we’re starting Eila and Something Shiny — a cozy narrative solo board game where we follow Eila’s journey through a branching story told entirely through cards. After the short prologue, Eila wakes up to see something shiny at the top of a distant mountain. Determined to discover what it is, she begins preparing for the journey by exploring the forest, gathering supplies, and meeting the creatures who live there. In Chapter 1: The Forest, we need to collect enough food, coins, and a magical stone before the week ends. Along the way we’ll manage Eila’s energy, knowledge, fear, and health while uncovering events that shape the story and determine what happens next. This is part of our Cozy Sunday series and we’ll be playing the full story over the next few weeks. In this episode: • Starting Chapter 1: The Forest • Exploring the event deck system • Gathering food, coins, and resources • Helping forest creatures and meeting new characters • Managing fear, energy, and knowledge • Preparing Eila for the climb ahead BoardGameGeek: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/293207/eila-and-something-shiny Enjoyed this?
