It’s perfect for involving the kiddos or just a quick round with friends. Duck Duck Mousse, which takes a meager 10 minutes to play, is set to have three distinct versions, all of which we'll delve into shortly. Be aware, though, this discussion is based on a prototype, so there might be some changes when it officially hits Kickstarter. The Basics: Normal Mode The standard game mode is as straightforward as it gets. Each player starts with a deck of five cards featuring a bunch of ducks that are, well, having a bad hair day. Your job is to get these ducks all "Moussed up" for picture day. As you take turns flipping over cards, you say "duck" for every duck card, a bit like "duck, duck, goose", but in our case, it's "duck, duck, Mousse". When a Mousse card appears, the first one to slap it gets to top their duck with it. The first player to have five ducks with Mousse on them wins! The gameplay is super fast-paced, so expect some adrenaline rush! Keep It Stylish: In Style Mode In the "In Style" mode, the goal is to use your flair for fashion to create the trendiest duck styles. You'll be using the fancy, framed "in-style" animal cards, five Mousse cards, and one duck card. Any other Mousse or deck cards are out of play in this version. The gameplay involves creating sets of three cards. Mousse cards are wild, so they can complete any set, and the single duck card can be used to steal a set from another player! The first player to gather three sets becomes the victor. Just remember, if your hand exceeds five cards and you can't create a set, you'll have to discard. Let Loose: Blowout Mode The "Blowout" version of the game is all about speed. It uses five ducks per person, five Mousse per person, and the rest are the in-style animals. The goal here is to be the first to create five "Mousse ducks" by slapping a Mousse card on a duck card. This mode involves quickly flipping your cards. If they're anything but a duck or a Mousse, they go in the center. If they're a duck or a Mousse, shout "duck" or "Mousse" and stash them. Once your deck is depleted, you can grab cards from the center to finish your five Mousse ducks. And voila! The quickest one to do this wins the game. Wrapping Up From the hilarious duck hairdos to the speedy gameplay, Duck Duck Mousse is all about having a quacking good time with friends and family. #DuckDuckMousse #KickstarterGames #DuckCardGame #GameForKids Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxjjp06LUo4pxg6rdCD-mHA/join Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pauljohnrudoi85/duck-duck-mousse-2024 Website: https://yokaygames.com/ How to Play Learn How to Play Duck Duck Mousse Board game by Yokay Games.
