Watch “Dolmen(götter) — How to Play and Is It a Gem?,” a board game review for Dolmen from Board Gems on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Board Gems on YouTube:
In (Die) Dolmen(götter), by Thomas Odenhoven & Eggert, players create stone circles by moving their druid pawns around the board and dropping menhirs as they go. When enough stones are around, players with the most can place blocks of hidden values in a stack, with blocks higher in the stack being multiplied for the most points.
While the game has NO LUCK, no dice or card play, the secret placement of blocks keeps one from analysing too hard. It's a unique combination of open-info gameplay and hidden-info scoring that makes it simultaneously casual and intriguing.

There are two editions, both not particularly easy to find in English-speaking markets. The first is quite plain and abstract (not unsuitable for the gameplay), the second modernises the look a bit. I also did a side-by-slide comparison if you want to see for yourself: https://youtu.be/8Vclg6ZUlFE
Board Gems highlights older board and card games that are still great games today, and deserve to not be forgotten!
