Designer Interview: Legends of Gadia

About Legends of Gadia, from BoardGameGeek:

The Most Epic Game You Can Play in 20 Minutes! Legends of Gadia is a highly thematic fantasy card game sprung from the pages of the upcoming fantasy novel series GADIA by Su Mon Han. As in -- this is the same game the characters actually play in the books (in taverns and what have you)! Legends of Gadia (or "LoG") immortalizes the 12 historical heroes from the world of GADIA whose final quest saved all humankind from impending doom at the cost of their own lives. To honor their sacrifice, the people of their world created this card game bearing their 12 likenesses that keeps their stories alive in the very moves of the game itself. For 2-4 players, LoG looks like a 48-card deck of beautifully illustrated fantasy tarot cards, but plays like a fast-paced, surprisingly strategy-rich and engaging card game along the lines of rummy or bridge, but with a thematic fantasy twist in the moves. With deep lore and extremely well-balanced game play perfected over 10+ years of playtesting, Legends of Gadia is bound to be your new go-to filler game as it plays in 20 minutes, but is so fresh, addicting and fun that you and your friends will be reaching for this game again and again. -description from the publisher
