Designer Interview: D.O.T

About D.O.T, from BoardGameGeek:

In D.O.T, you secretly play cards into personal and shared pools, manipulating colored dot totals to gain the highest scoring Difference.Over.Time. The twist? The goalpost shifts. Sometimes you're rewarded for being far off the mark, and at other times for getting as close as possible. Master the shifting logic, outwit your opponent, and disrupt their plans at just the right moment to claim victory. -description from the publisher
