About Deepest Valley, from BoardGameGeek:
You rule a fantasy realm during the final battle of the ancient wars. The Battle of the Deepest Valley. Your armies have been driven from the field, and your treasury drained, but you have one advantage, and one last chance at victory.
Deepest Valley is a fantasy strategy gamezine for 2 to 5 players. A complete hand-drawn hex and dice wargame in zine format. Plays in 1 hour (2 players), to 3 hours (5 players). Comes with a large fold-out map, carry case, and *lots* of dice.
"They say the valley has always been at war. That it always will be... They call it the Deepest Valley. Say it will never fill up. No matter how many bodies we throw in, or how much gold we bury them under. To the other realms it's a strategic key, a prize to win at any cost. We remember a time when there was peace in the valley. We are the children of the mountains, and the valley is our cradle. We know there can be peace in the valley again. There will be peace. Once our realm takes it back!"
