In the 2-player version you place EITHER the +1 ribbon OR the +3 ribbon, not both. 2. In the regular multiplayer game, everyone is making a mosaic off the same Theme chosen each round. So, the first player draws a card and picks a Theme for the round, and all players then make their mosaic based on that chosen theme.
