About Confusing Lands: Icebound Isles, from BoardGameGeek:
Confusing Lands: Icebound Isles is a frosty standalone expansion to Confusing Lands that can be played on its own or combined with the original game for even bigger adventures.
Step into a snow covered world where icy winds sweep across floating islands and frozen terrain reshapes the sky itself. Every card and even the box are dusted in winter, introducing brand new Frozen Spaces adding a chilling strategic twists to the game.
In this clever card game, players create their own wacky floating landscapes in the sky! Discover towering snow capped mountains, trace icy rivers, and maybe even spot a brave little deer wandering through the frost.
Players take turns drafting and placing cards featuring unique symbols and scoring conditions. Once each player has played 8 cards, they tally points from a single shared scoring condition along with the scoring conditions within their own finished landscape. The player who crafted the most brilliantly confusing (and highest scoring) frozen world wins!
Play Icebound Isles as:
A standalone solo or 2 player experience
A longer solo or 2 player game when combined with Confusing Lands
A 3-4 player game when merged with the original game.
The lands were already confusing... now they're frozen.
