Today we're playing Concordia with the Solitaria expansion, taking on the automated opponentin a full solo teaching playthrough. Concordia is an elegant strategy game of trade and expansion set across the Roman Empire. We'll move our colonists across the map, build houses in cities, produce and trade goods, acquire new personality cards, and build a scoring engine dedicated to the ancient Roman gods. The Solitaria expansion turns Concordia into a solo challenge where almost every card we play causes Greggius Contrarius to react. The bot doesn't manage money, goods, or a storehouse, making it surprisingly quick to run while still forcing us to think carefully about every action. This is a teaching playthrough, so I'll explain the rules naturally as we play. By the end of the video, you'll know everything you need to start playing Concordia Solitaria yourself. We'll cover the Architect, Prefect, Mercator, Diplomat, Tribune, Senator, Consul and Colonist actions, along with Specialists, resource management, the Solitaria bot and final scoring. We're playing on Standard difficulty, where we begin with a 20-point head start. Solitaria also includes Veteran and Expert difficulties when you're ready for a tougher challenge. If you have any questions about Concordia or Solitaria, leave them in the comments. Thank you so much for watching, and have a great rest of your day!
