Watch “All you ever wanted 'n needed is right here in this game, Concept, where words are very unnecessary.,” a board game review for Concept on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Michael Lock on YouTube:
Concept is a clever social party game for 2 players or more (like, up to as many as you can fit around the table). The goal of the game is to communicate a word, phrase, title, idea, character, action --just about anything!-- to your fellow players using only the bazillions of icons on the game board and a bunch of colorful playing pieces. The icons on the board represent things like colors, shapes, body parts, materials, weather, directions, animals, people, politics, religion, food, historical, fictional, vehicles, movies, titles, books, technology, economy, so on and so forth, and the player whose turn it is to try and communicate a concept with his fellow players does so by placing all those aforementioned colorful pieces on these icons. It takes a little practice to get good at both giving the clues and guessing the clues, but once you get the hang of it, it is sooooo satisfying. Like playing frisbee, I say, where it's just as satisfying to make a perfect throw as it is to make an amazing catch.
