Cat in the Box | Is it a PARADOX? | Board Game Overview and Review (Episode #72)

Description provided by kovray on YouTube:

You own many cats, but you don't quite know them until they're played. That's right, their suit colour is determined upon them being played. Will you succeed in this quintessential quantum trick-taking game? Make sure not to cause a paradox. Cat in the Box: Deluxe Edition is a trick-taking, bidding board game, which is designed by Muneyuki Yokouchi, illustrated by Osamu Inoue, and published by Bezier Games, who provided us a copy of the game to review, In Cat in the Box, you'll predict how many tricks you will win, and proceed to play cats to connect a grid of your tokens on the player board by specifying specific colours you would like the cats to be, while also paying attention to how many tricks you're winning. Be careful though, as if you are not able to play a card as the card with the same number has already been declared you will cause a PARADOX, which in turn will lose you points. Will you be a clever cat and score the most points? Thanks for watching our board game overview and review of Cat in the Box! Question of the day: If a new cat came into your life, what would you want their name to be? Our series "Check it Out!" is a weekly series, where we introduce a new game, give you a brief overview of how to play and tell you what we thought along with why you should and shouldn't check it out. Essentially, a board game review! We appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos. Let's see what these cats are up to!
