One of the game's central mechanics involves building a tower using wall pieces of varying heights while strategically placing feline companions to help Toto continue his climb. Players must balance risk and stability as the tower grows taller and more difficult to manage.
Cat and the Tower supports 1–5 players, is recommended for ages 6 and up, and plays in approximately 15–30 minutes. The game also features a story-based progression system that introduces new challenges and scenarios across multiple play sessions.
