About Carnival, from BoardGameGeek:

In Carnival you start with a handful of creature cards. You can play these in front of you or to contribute to the central pile. Creatures in front of you will earn you points, but only if there are more creatures of the same type in the central pile. How many creatures are you going to contribute to the central pile?
