Carl von Linné - Board Game Preview

About Carl von Linné, from BoardGameGeek:

Carl von Linné is a strategic board game set in the early 18th century, where players take on the roles of natural historians inspired by the work of Carl Linnaeus and his contemporaries. Through exploring distant regions, collecting and researching specimens, cultivating botanical gardens, corresponding with scientific institutions, and publishing influential books, players gradually build knowledge and reputation. By carefully managing actions through a unique lens system and balancing fieldwork with scholarly study, players compete to contribute most to the emerging system of taxonomy and leave a lasting mark on the history of natural science. -description from the publisher
