Can you save the Ocean? Ocean Pods by Molinarius Games

Description provided by Ludus Vulpes on YouTube:

Kirsty and Phil caught up with Lee from Molinarius Games to take a look at their new game Ocean Pods. In Ocean Pods you play as a Marine Biologist conducting research in the great ocean mammals, Ocean Pods is a dice drafting game, where you are drafting dice to collect resources which can be traded in to collect information about the great ocean mammals. Beware the whaling boats which will scare away the mammals and you cannot conduct research on a mammal that is absent. In the final semi cooperative twist, plastic is added to the oceans as the whaling boat passes between different ocean types. If you ever allow the plastic tokens to get to 3 everyone loses the game. Someone needs to clean the oceans but if you're doing that then you're not researching. Difficult choices lay ahead in Ocean Pods. We hope you enjoy the video and don't forget we are also available on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter just search for Ludus Vulpes. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/364571/ocean-pods #boardgamegeek #boardgames
