Call of Duty the Board Game is a fast paced head to head battle adaptation of the Call of Duty video game from Activision. In the Call of Duty board game players will begin each round by planning out their movement on their hidden map and then execute that movement one step at a time until they see another player, at which point everything stops and combat begins immediately. Combat is resolved quickly with a combination of a tug-of-war style damage track, cards, and dice. The Call of Duty board game also includes a number of items and tactics that you can use to increase your strategy and improve your chances in combat. 00:00 Introduction 00:22 Tournament Playthroughs 01:36 Core Box Characters and Weapons 03:06 Flow of the Game 03:17 Planning Phase 04:13 Planning Movement 04:46 Line of Sight 05:20 Execution Phase 05:41 Initiating Combat 05:53 Combat Overview 06:54 Basic vs Advanced Cards 08:01 3 Kinds of Dice 08:23 Resolving Combat 11:34 Wounding your Opponent 12:39 After Combat 13:03 Flag objective 13:54 End of the Round/Reset for Next Round 14:22 Items and Action Tokens 14:35 Reloading 15:20 Items - Frag Grenade/Proximity Mine 16:43 Killstreak bonuses - Air Strike/RC XD 18:51 Respawning 19:13 Sprinting 20:13 ADS - Aim Down Sight 21:35 Card Tactics 23:07 Recruits 26:09 Wrap up Play the Game HQ a youtube channel dedicated to sharing our love of boardgames. Our flagship series, Play the Game, is a high quality multi-camera board game play through series featuring a bunch of friends gathered around the table playing board games. Play the Game takes its inspiration from other shows like Tabletop. Our Mission with Play the Game is to highlight the joy that comes when you gather around the table with friends and play a board game. Play the Game features a dedicated board game playthrough studio with 7 cameras, a custom board game table, an awesome custom made back-lit logo on the wall, and tons of easter eggs sprinked through the studio space. Play the Game is also the home of the Kidsplaining tutorial series, where Jarred (12) and Peyton (9) teach some of our favorite games in high quality, scripted board game tutorial videos. Kidsplaining started as a way to share our love of board games and help those who were intimidated by more complicated modern board games take a chance on new ones - because if a kid can teach it, how hard can it be? https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/386403/call-duty-board-game
