Braided Skies Lore: The Burning Heart

Description provided by TheRulebook on YouTube:

The first book of the Smoking Bones saga, the world of Stonemaier's Braided Skies, narrated start to finish. Braided Skies is set in a world called the Smoking Bones, created and illustrated by Andrew Bosley, the artist behind Everdell and Tapestry. Alongside the game, Bosley is writing a saga of illustrated story books about the man at the center of that world, planned as three volumes. The first one is Red Jones and the Burning Heart. Captain Red Jones runs the Smoking Bones Travel Company, flying wealthy mainlanders out to see the wild magics the Northlands would rather forget. He keeps a broken Withermark seal in his desk drawer, half of a key to a door he has never found. Then an urgent message reaches the Morningstar from someone who claims to have the other half. If you have played Braided Skies, some of this will look familiar. The Cracked Flagon, the tavern where Red goes to meet the sender, is the port in the bottom right corner of the game board. The digital edition is free to read and illustrated on nearly every spread.
