Best Final Girl Ever ? SHRIEK the Scream inspired expansion from Gencon Review

Description provided by BoxedMeeples on YouTube:

Julian takes an early look at Shriek, a new “Special Feature” film for the Final Girl series. Inspired by the Scream scary movies, Shriek swaps the quiet suburbs of Woodsboro for the noisy chaos of a board game convention, where a masked killer stalks attendees through crowded halls and cluttered vendor booths. The video features extended game play footage and Julian’s thoughts on how Shriek captures the tension, humor, and meta-horror spirit of the movies. What makes Shriek stand out is how it twists the familiar mechanics of Final Girl to fit the Scream-style formula. The setting is packed with thematic touches, from hunting down crucial convention items like passes and prototypes to navigating tight, claustrophobic spaces where escape routes are scarce and no one wants to leave the booths! The killer is more unpredictable than ever, you never know who is friend or foe. Staying true to the Scream legacy, Shriek infuses its tense cat‑and‑mouse gameplay with the same trademark wit and self‑referential humor, sprinkling in knowing winks and in‑jokes that rewards board game fans for being in on the quirks of a boardgame expo.
