Aton, Roma, Arena: Roma II — Rough Cuts

Description provided by Board Gems on YouTube:

This a Rough Cuts episode, in which I briefly chat about three board games that I wasn't planning to do full episodes on (at least, not any time soon). I did include a couple of photos, but it's mostly just my ugly mug, so feel free to look at gameplay photos on BoardGameGeek while playing this so you can see what I'm talking about. These are three two-player games all published by Queen Games over 10 years ago: * Aton, from designer Thorsten Gimmler * Roma, from designer Stefan Feld (his first published game!) * Arena: Roma II, also from Stefan Feld Roma and Roma II are very similar so I talk about both in the same section. 00:00 Intro ▶️ 00:54 Aton ☀️ 14:47 Roma I & II ⚔️ Board Gems highlights board and card games that aren't talked about much any more — maybe they're a bit old (though not usually crazy old), or maybe they didn't make a big splash when they came out — but are still great games today, and deserve to not be forgotten! Main videos on the 3rd, 13th and 23rd of the month. (Mnemonic: G-E-M has 3 letters.) In between there may be side videos on miscellaneous topics.
