Watch “Aster – Abstract Space Strategy with Solar Sails | Airecon 2026,” a board game interview for Aster from The Offline Gamer (TOGCast) on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by The Offline Gamer (TOGCast) on YouTube:
This interview was filmed at Airecon 2026 in Harrogate, where we spoke with Gelb from Midnight Trading Co about their upcoming strategy game Aster.
Aster is an abstract strategy game set in a unique “ancient space” setting, where ships sail along streams of sunlight across a beautifully geometric board. Combining elements of classic games like chess and checkers with a fresh sci-fi theme, it offers a blend of simple rules and deep strategic decisions.
Aster looks like a really elegant abstract strategy game with a striking theme and clever mechanics, and it’s definitely one to watch when it hits crowdfunding. Check it out!
