An Honest Conversation about Gorinto

Description provided by Shelf Stories on YouTube:

WARNING: Occasional Instances of Explicit Language. Mark Specter, founder of Grand Gamers Guild, joins Jason to talk about the cultural aspects of his latest game, Gorinto - an abstract game with a theme drawn from Japanese Buddhism. A designer diary on BGG about Gorinto recently caused a social media kerfuffle. Mark talks about cultural awareness, when games cross a line, and a host of other topics. We don't hold back in this one! EDIT: A small part was removed around 59:01-59:11. If that's a rough edit, I apologize - YouTube editing tools are not the best. I said a term and meant to say it in a certain context. To my surprise, it ended up that I did not say what I thought I said. It happens! Thank you to the commenter who pointed it out. ------- Every episode of Chat with Friends is available as an audio podcast on the One Stop Coop Shop - https://soundcloud.com/onestopcoopshop If you want playthroughs of all of your favorite cooperative games, please visit us at the One Stop Coop Shop YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrOtGhui_jdLdoQNI7PU4Pg I am also a video reviewer on the Dice Tower!
