Akropolis Review - When You Wish It Was Your Turn

Description provided by The Broken Meeple on YouTube:

Akropolis Review - When You Wish It Was Your Turn The most talented architects in ancient Greece stand ready to achieve this goal. Build housing, temples, markets, gardens and barracks, so you can grow your city and ensure it triumphs over the others. Raise its prestige with harmonious planning that conforms to specific rules, and enhance it by building plazas. Stone is an essential resource, so make sure you do not neglect it. You’ll need enough quarries so you can build higher up, making your city stretch towards the sky. Choose a tile from the construction site Arrange it in your city to unlock each district's full potential Build on higher levels, increase the value of your districts and win the game *************************************** SUBSCRIBE ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmjyHBcqxxQjrg0KUN944dQ?sub_confirmation=1 KIENDA SPONSOR REFERRAL LINK The Broken Meeple is happy to be sponsored by Kienda.co.uk where you can buy great games at great prices from a warehouse local to where I live! One single batchelor from the UK talking about his passion for board games and the people who play them! I support small content creators, board game cafes and go against the status quo when it comes to the board game industry. I give my honest opinions without bias towards any publishers or designers and will not hold back if I don't like a game. The Broken Meeple is a variety channel that hosts all kinds of board game content from reviews to Top 10 lists to playthroughs to live stream collaborations with special guests (predominantly small channels who deserve more exposure). I look forward to engaging with you, the community on my live streams or in the comments on my videos! *************************************** Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction and KIENDA Promo 01:03 Background 02:03 Overview 05:23 Quick and Simple, Passes the Gateway Test 06:39 Good Production For Cheap But Not For The Colour Blind 09:11 Plan Ahead But Balance Plazas vs Districts 10:30 Game Feels Governed By Turn Sequence 13:08 Bring Out Now And Again 14:10 Summary and Verdict #brokenmeeple #ukge #akropolis #boardgamereview #boardgames #boardgame #lukehector #supportsmallcreators #tabletop #tabletopgames #bgg #boardgamer #boardgamereview *************************************** Useful Links Become a Patreon ► https://www.patreon.com/TheBrokenMeeple Facebook ► https://www.facebook.com/thebrokenmeeple Twitter ► https://twitter.com/TheBrokenMeeple Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/thebrokenmeeple Podcast ► https://soundcloud.com/luke-hector-broken-meeple
