Pickup energy resources to fuel your ships, generate an economic engine by acquiring technology, conquer landmarks to obtain victory points, and battle (or recruit) local forces to further enhance your fleet. Multi level card location adjusts turn order which balances the selection of the "best" card on each planet. Varying card cost depending on position adds additional replay value. Operations option ensures that you can always make headway by strengthen your ships (power and experience). Asymmetric powers of each faction provides ideal direction during the early game.
