Advanced Squad Leader AAR 48 - Adolf's Amateurs (BoF5)

Description provided by Advanced Squad Leader Academy on YouTube:

Salla, Finland, 1 July 1941: On 1 July, Nord was to make a frontal attack on the Soviet positions in front of Salla while the 169 Infanterie Division attacked their northern flank. An opening barrage had some effect on the defenders, but more importantly set much of the forest on fire, which severely degraded visibility for the Stukas and artillery observers. The fire also prevented heavy weapons from supporting the infantry with direct fire on Soviet positions. The German infantry was unable to advance far and was stopped in its tracks by the Soviet border fortifications. 0:00 - Thanks, Supporters!! 0:07 - Sun Tzu Says ... 0:16 - The Scenario/SSRs 4:13 - Advantages/Disadvantages 7:35 - German Attack Plan 10:15 - Russian Defense Plan 15:00 - Turn 1 18:05 - Turn 2 22:20 - Turn 3 25:37 - Turn 4 28:32 - Turn 5 30:57 - Turn 6 34:07 - Turn 7 36:13 - Scenario End 41:00 - Dice Stats 43:41 - Final Ramblings Donate to help support the channel: https://www.paypal.me/nulen Or, join the Supporter Roll Call: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVIdiYMT0xkK3_s5ELIcAWA/join ASL Players: http://asl-players.net Advanced Squad Leader info: http://www.mmpgamers.com VASL info: http://vasl.info #advancedsquadleader #boardgames #wargaming #gaming
