Acuarella is a competitive game where you'll place polyomino tiles with gorgeous cat illustrations. You must add these tiles to your board following the placement rules, trying to collect as many pigments as possible by placing adjoining tiles in the right combinations. You can also gain opportunity cards that make the game a fun and challenging competition for cat-like artists! -description from the designer In Acuarella, a vibrant polyomino placement game featuring adorable feline illustrations, you'll become an ingenious cat artist. Your mission: to create the ultimate masterpiece to support the many kitties living near an urban park. To achieve this, you'll combine your Cat tokens (polyominoes) on your personal canvas, mixing them to generate new colors (pigments) that will earn you valuable points. The challenge and fun are intensified with Opportunity cards, which add unexpected twists to the game. Plus, you'll aim to capture adorable "cat photos" to fill the small empty spaces on your board, as each unfilled space subtracts points from your final score. As a finishing touch, the Cat tokens you've used on your board will transform at the end of the game, allowing you to assemble adorable kitties on the table for extra points.
