Aces is a sharp shedding card game for two players. Stripping a standard deck down to forty cards (Ace through 10), the game condenses the high-tension gameplay of classic climbing games into a heads-up duel of hand management. Aces are multi-functional cards. On their own, they are worthless low cards. When paired with number cards, they act as flexible wilds to help form runs or sets. Throwing down all four Aces unleashes a devastating bomb that can be led or dropped onto any combo to instantly clear the pile. Players race to 7 points across multiple rounds, and how you end the round determines the points you earn. Play it safe by going out with wilds and earn fewer points. Play your cards right and go out naturally to earn more points. -description from the designer
