Watch “A Mini.s Game for Board Gamers?,” a board game unboxing for Halo: Flashpoint from Studio Watchwolf on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Studio Watchwolf on YouTube:
We take a look at Halo: Flashpoint - Mantic's application of their Deadzone Game Engine to simplify movement and measuring and bring tabletop gaming and the Halo universe to the rest of us.
To me, this is one of the most exciting games of the year because whilst Tabletop wargames are always going to be the most immersive gaming experience they come with the heavy overhead of long hours building, painting, transporting and setting up that I can do without.
It's not that I don't want any of the craft hobby, it's just that I don't want to have to spend hours painting models if I don't want to. So what if we could have everything we want without everything we don't need but still have access to the craft hobby overhead if we wanted?
One game to rule them all and in the darkness (of the basement paint studio) bind them? I couldn't wait to get the box open!
