80's Block Game - Number Rumba [Woodworking Project]

Watch “80's Block Game - Number Rumba [Woodworking Project],” a how-to-play guide for Number Rumba! from Clint Rose Carving on BoardGameVideo.

Description provided by Clint Rose Carving on YouTube:

A friend of mine wanted me to make her a version of an old game called 'Number Rumba' which is now quite rare and hard to get hold of. It's a simple block game from the 80's where each team has to rearrange their blocks to match whats on a card. The first to rearrange their blocks correctly, wins. The blocks here are made of Oak and the rest is Sapele. I used some enamel paints suitable for toys to paint the blocks. Its a fairly simple woodworking project but should only be attempted if you have the patience to cut and sand 18 blocks! I would like to point out that I do not own the rights to Number Rumba nor do I claim to. Thank you for viewing, check out the various links below if you'd like to see what else I get up to, thanks a lot! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twitch - https://www.twitch.tv/timberanew Instagram - @timberanew https://instagram.com/timberanew Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/timberanew Instructables - http://www.instructables.com/member/timberanew

About Number Rumba!, from BoardGameGeek:

The game box contains 2 identical little stands each with 9 number blocks and a pack of example-cards. The cards are numbered from 1 to 24 (easy..difficult). When a card is placed on the table, the 2 players try to make the example shown on that card as quickly as possible. The fastest player wins that card. Then the next card comes on the table etc. Rules: You may just move one block at the time and the stones may only be put on the bars of the stand. Not in your hands or on the table!! Each bar can have 3 blocks max. It's also a nice game to play for 1 player.
