4X Fast Food: A J&G Review of Last Light

Description provided by Jumble & Gaff on YouTube:

Welcome to this week's belated video! Last Light, a board game from Grey Fox Games about alien conquistadors slurping sunlight and jostling one another in space, arrived on shelves in board game stores near you approximately three weeks ago. Since then, this incredibly cynical man has devoted a substantial number of hours to thinking about & playing it. And this time around, his thoughts wander to the speculative. Does this game deliver on its promise to bring a REAL 4X experience? What does a 'real' 4X experience even entail? What IS a 4X, anyway, and does it have anything to do with algebra? Ultimately, your answers to these questions (which may differ from this man's) will determine whether Last Light would be a banger of a box, or a chunky miss.
