About NBW — from BoardGameGeek:
Napoleonic Battles, Waterloo (NBW) is a hyper-realistic tactical-operational wargame that crosses the line between game and military simulator. It combines accessible mechanics with exceptional tactical depth and an immersive narrative typical of a professional command simulator. Designed to be played solo or with up to 15 players, NBW always maintains historical balance and narrative coherence, enhancing the experience the greater the number of participants. It includes four pre-designed modes (2, 3, 4 and 5 hours), with adjustable difficulty by narrative layers that allow you to modulate the intensity, realism and pace of the game. The game will feature an add-on that will allow players to combine 2D and 3D gameplay. The game will also incorporate a system for capturing fortifications in both 2D and 3D, which is due to be completed soon and which will exponentially increase the intensity of the battles. The rules are compatible with Napoleonic modelling landscapes and minifigures, further enhancing the realism of the game and making it a gem for clubs with these interests. Finally, it is worth noting that the boxes are made of wood and are handcrafted; the nameplates and the colours of the ribbons can be changed, and the initiative's medallion can also be personalised. This will be a very limited collector's edition, both in terms of quantity and duration. -description from the designer
