12 Rivers Board Game Review - Is this marble game just a load of balls?

Description provided by BoxedMeeples on YouTube:

Julian and Libby are going with the flow as they take a first look at 12 Rivers – one of the biggest splashes from Essen Spiel 2025. In this board game from Good Games Publishing, players guide tribes up misty mountains to gather glistening pearls as they roll along twelve winding rivers. It’s all about clever timing, tactical placement, and a splash of luck as you race to please villagers before your rivals. Beautiful, bright, and brilliantly balanced — 12 Rivers turns strategy into a smooth downstream flow. So together, lets table it and have a little chat about what good what surprising and whether this Essen hit is worth rolling with.
