🇬🇧 (949) Scharz (prototype) - review (ENG)

About Scharz, from BoardGameGeek:

This game consists of three separately saleable parts that can be combined to form a Scharz game (for 12 players): Part I: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/344934/scharz-part-i Part II: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/344935/scharz-part-ii Part III: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/344939/scharz-part-iii and a separately playable expansion (compatible with the original game) - Battle: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/401728/para-bellum-proelii In this area control game, the player must master the management of their own empire, its development and conflict with other players. Time in each year, resources and human capacity are limited. Expanding the economic base, building more footholds, improving them, buying better livestock and soldiers, developing trade and fleets - all this is possible and beneficial, but it also requires expensive military protection. Because even those who feed their large army on the snowball principle from the resources of others can win. Game time 15 - 40 minutes per player, recommended for ages 10 and up. The original game, referred to as Complete, contains three separately sold parts, labeled Part I, Part II and Part III. Each part contains 2 unique maps and 4 unique player sets and 4 modes (Fast, Basic, Original, Extended). You can play one of four modes on one of six maps in 2-12 players. -description from the designer
