Doom Machine: Death Hack is a roll-and-write spinoff of the brutal dice chucking mint tin original - but with a more strategic hacking-themed twist and unique print-and-play focused gameplay. This PnP-only release is the second game in the Erase and Write Solo Series, which uses 18 sleeved cards, three six-sided dice, and a dry erase marker as its core components. The Doom Machine stirs once again! Use your limited resources to maintain the protective firewall, hack nodes, and destroy vital parts before she reaches her full destructive power. To win, you must weaken and out-score the Doom Machine, resisting her assault while turning her systems against her. On each round, you'll reveal a new part card and add it to the Doom Machine's tableau, which increases its progress towards breaking through your firewall defenses. You'll roll your three dice, spending resources to modify them as needed, and allocate them either to rebuilding the firewall or to hacking nodes on available part cards by writing in roll results directly on the sleeved cards. Most nodes have unique roll requirements and formulas to fulfill, while others trigger bonus effects including earning extra dice rolls and gaining useful recruits that boost your score. When a card's nodes are all filled, it's destroyed, triggering an immediate bonus effect and earning you a special target icon. Take care to prioritize targets in the correct sequence order to gain maximum point combos. Three difficulty modes lets you scale your experience upwards or downwards to suit your skill level.
